​TEACHING

James has a thriving teaching practice in North West London, working with students from as young as 12. His particular focus has been working with teenage singers, helping them find their natural voice and concentrating on healthy growth and development of each individual's sound. However James also works with experienced contemporary and classical musicians, as well as older amateurs.



James is an experienced and gifted animateur, who has helped facilitate education workshops for Garsington Opera, The Royal Opera House, The National Opera Studio and NBR New Zealand Opera. He has a long association with The American School in London, having been on staff there, working particularly with choirs and elementary music students.
